globebox idea
October 30, 2008I saw this video clip here where David De Rothchild argues with the right of texas to do as it chooses. Many in Texas feel that the people are not making the planet hotter, that its all part of the natural process on the planet. I reckon its better that we don’t treat the planet like an ashtray. I partly reckon the banking system and the oil industry is responsible.
After i watched that video i watched this video here where David De Rothchild is talking about a green project called adventure ecology
i figured to send an email to adventure ecology asking them what they reckon of the globebox idea idea… no response yet.
“while in Norway i put this idea on the internet..http://www.globebox.org I feel this idea is great concept for adventure ecology. I saw a youtube clip where David De Rothchild spoke about issues that relate to the planet and its transformation.”
shall post something here if i get a response…
transforming freedom…
October 30, 2008i sent this message transforming freedoms
i wondered if your project (or a branch of your project) might also encompass, the transformation of spaces outside the Internet, that are heavily regulated via AKM and partners.. it seems creators that have nothing to do with the pools of content that the rights organizations hold power over have no choice, its a similar situation of being only able to provide code to one source and that source only using code it has already made, unless the code has been made in conjunction with the a fund/with corporation.
what happend to Chrysler…
October 29, 2008from this link
On October 23, 2008, Daimler announced that its stake in Chrysler had a book value of zero dollars after write offs and charges
what does a book value of zero dollars equate to in terms of a company that makes cars?
56 trillion dollar debt..
October 26, 2008comment on youtube clip…
who wants a fed that is owned/ruled via the corporations. every time the market has a big crash its harder for the small guys to pick themselves up and do it again. imagine that all the publishing companies would become one publishing company. then only feed you things they had already created and not let/anything/new/into/system19 84
its interesting that 56 trillion is 500,000 per household in the US, this with incomes per home of 50,000 each….
also::: its interesting that the one.org youtube clip does not allow comments, well they allowed 10 and then stopped, why want one.org allow open forums.. they have a blog on their site… yet very few responses… transparency of information (and finance!) is needed to change, i reckon… a free flow of thought from the public that fund these organizations…
one.org– i get on my soap box…
October 25, 2008they asked me and a million people to write something to one.org,,, so i posed something at this link, i know that me and 1 million other people filled in this form, yet you never know. Maybe one person might read it… and think about what it is they are doing for the long run…
the real change might happen when people can unite through the use of technology to help these developing places devlop better than the places we live in. Copyright needs to be reformed so that ideas can flow, the power of the media needs to be in the hands of the people, not the corporations… activists like Bono benefit through an increased presence in the media through their activism… yet artists that are not known to the world, that possibly create on par with Bono in many instances are being locked out by the corporate monopolies. As they consume each other in a war on rights. on one hand the technology has changed the world for the people. Yet on the other hand, the corporations use the laws of copyright to censor the people. Bring back registration for copyright. let the people be free and natural with their ideas, copyright is locking us all up, even the people at the top of the media chain are victims to copyright. its time that all people came together and with the politicians and the corporations, to understand that the technology has changed yet the laws have not. Laws and regulations around the laws of copyright need to be reformed. Please bring the issue of copyright and its deregulation to your way. The internet is about people connecting with people, not about people being forced to connect with the corporations through censorship. Issues that relate to copyright are having a huge impact on the developing places that America in many instances has exploited in the past. I’m not one to change the way people are. Yet we can’t let the human spirit be locked up through the things we build because of the corporations and the laws. Get together against an over regulated system. Chaos is being taken out of the equation, because of the over regulation. My heart hope things change. To solve poverty, the fundamentals need to change. Just as the fed reserve needs to change, so do the laws that govern the laws of copyright.
Obama video response. McCain’s video response.
If this video is true here, it says that America’s debt is 56 trillion dollars. In McCains response he talks of corruption in Africa.
I heard on a clip someone say “why does capitalism stay in business, response… cause socialism always bails it out.” Both sides of the coin agree that its a good idea that 1.7 trillion dollars be injected into the US economy to save things from ruin. Where is the corruption? Trillion dollars to the bankers and corporations, Billion dollars to poverty.
Its interesting that hungary was just given a lot of Euros…
IMF pledged 12.5 billion euros (16 billion dollars) to embattled Hungary, the European Union offered 6.5 billion euros and the World Bank added another billion euros. Hungary is just one country, the European union has just loaned 6.5 billion. I spose this explains how it works at a distance, just like the artists are locked out of the media, so is Africa locked out of the global economy, Africa with its resources could be more than Europe and America combined, its sad that this is the way it is… its interesting to note that…
Daimler AG, the world’s second-largest maker of luxury cars, will build a Mercedes-Benz factory in Hungary, its first new plant in almost a decade, as part of a 1.4 billion-euro ($2.2 billion) expansion of small-car production.
who cares about the artist in the license… i tried 2 do that and look what happend when i thought in the process of thinking.

The NC license looks to be a better license for software developers and artists that don’t want their songs, code or graphic being used in a commercial way. It seems strange for me that Buma/stemra, coda & APRA have gone for these licenses within their system. Artists that join these organizations give exclusive permissions for the use of their copyright to these organizations. This means the NC license is not able to flex or move at all. In the US the CC license can flex as artists with ASCAP and BMI have not signed exclusive contracts. Most artists that sign with a rights organization outside the US probably don’t know that the contract they have with their rights organization is exclusive, most artists in the US probably don’t know that the contract they sign is non-exclusive. As the contract is non-exclusive in the US, artists can join ASCAP via the net. As what difference is it if the artists is a member or not, they still have their exclusive right.
It seems clear from recent mails with rights organization AKM, that the non-exclusive right of an artist that has issued the right for their media to be used via ASCAP/bmi, is unable to translate outside the US on any level. This in turn means that the commons license as far as audio works licensed by artists that are members of ASCAP or BMI are only able to go as far as the boarders of the US, from the information i have so far.
AKM write:::
your “case” has been discussed thoroughly. Our position is that in reference to the reciprocal representation agreement AKM has concluded with ASCAP we have the right to license the right of public performance of your musical works. No evidence is shown in the IPI-database that your membership agreement with ASCAP excludes live-performances. Given the fact that the membership agreement between ASCAP and its members is on a non-exclusive basis you too have the right to license the right of public performance of your musical works.
Our contracting partner is ASCAP. As long as we do not have a written information from ASCAP that we shall no longer license live-performances or public performances as a whole of your musical works we will proceed as before. So, please contact your contracting partner ASCAP:::
If all rights organization (outside the US) stand on the same ground as AKM its hard to know (yet if its upto a board run via corporations, its probably yes), what does that tell the artist that puts a creative commons license on their songs, be it non-commercial or commercial?
The other consideration that the audio creator might want to take into view is that no law exists (that i know of), that defines commercial or non-commercial. The rights organization have the ability to decide what a non-commercial or commercial use is, yet as the rights organizations voting system, is built in such a way that the more an artist or publisher gets the more power the artist or publisher has, this ultimately means that a definition of non-commercial or commercial is going to be created in favor of the corporation affiliated NGO’s or the artists, that get the most revenues.
This in turn means that creative commons has to bend to the wills of the corporations and governmental institutions rather than the artists. No artists or regular publisher is on the board of creative commons or icommons and i do feel that creative commons has understood the situation as i do now for some time.
The artist who is signed with ASCAP does have the right to defend her or his right to issue a license in the court of law, if they have signed a non-exclusive contract with a rights organization. Consider though, as non-commercial is not defined and share alike easily mis-understood, this means that a license that allows commercial use with attribution is probably the better choice for the artist that wants to stay self publishing.
From this view it seems joining ASCAP and defending the space/media that the artist issues the license 2, is a smart way to go. http://www.setlist.CC
I’m not a lawyer, so maybe i have it a little mixed up. Yet getting things mixed up might open up some other ways, that don’t just help the corporations, government and NGO’s.
pessimist and optimist
October 20, 2008if the pessimist and the optimist reckon what they see say hear touch feel is real and optimist tells you that the pessimist has a very different life to the optimist. If that optimist is a professor of economics and tells you things are going to be ok, and money shall not fold to paper and gold is of little use. Who house do you go for a cup of tea in, when the tea runs out. The pessimist or the optimist? is the pessimist not really the optimist cloaked in dust, maybe waiting for the jackpot. The optimist, the dog chasing a mechanical rabbit? or do i just envy those with a positive view? who wants to drink tea with some so negative anyway. maybe i just got 2 rusted waiting for the change to come.
the real theory of gold
October 20, 2008it seems that really we are all here to search the planet for gold and then some supreme being from above is going to arrive and pick it all up, as the gold is needed to run a generator in another dimension. unfortunately for the human race, the super beings got delayed choosing to have an extra cup of coffee on a brake from work. this in turn has meant that other things happen. this does not change the fact though that when they have finished their coffee brake they are going to come and get the gold, weather we like it or not.
you got saucers and you got cups, living on a string trying to be a mug… old song from many moons ago.

what can we do?
October 13, 2008its a crazy situation the world is in at the moment. markets going up and down. talk of war and a new world order. its worth checking out the theory at this link
what i don’t get is, if the fed reserve was such a big part of the whole Zeitgeist conspiracy idea, why is the conspiracy only braking news now to me, as the market takes a hit. i have heard heaps of theories in time, yet this is the first time this one has got my attention, yet maybe i just don’t pay enough attention. does the conspiracy just invents itself as changes happen, can every bass of chaos be covered?
If I buy into these ideas, its almost like I’m saying, I have no control and i’m not responsible. We are all kind of responsible though, maybe some more than others. Someone borrowed that money, going beyond the means you have and then getting something more cause the value of what you bought has increased, yet what you have still have not paid for has increased, is someday going to take a spin in the other direction. Yet maybe that is not the way it is? The consumer cycle has sped up so fast as a result of the increase for the need of things.
i thought that a nuclear war might happen when i was a kid in the 80’s. People were probably living underground back in the 80’s thinking the same thing. People in the US probably had huge reserves of food in their houses back then. What about having no food in these developing places, no-one is going to buy anything, if the economy turns to rubbish, what about all those people that were building the machines for the wealthy in Europe. What happens to globalization, when everyone stops buying all the stuff. Who gets hit hardest in all this?
This youtube clip is a good watch, i just don’t have all the information to know if what is being said here true or not. Maybe its my own fault, and my own laziness, to have not found out about all the different ideas. For sure its a problem for all media to pay for all the costs to get the media to a level where its able to be presented to a broader public. By the time the edit is done, the meaning can drift and sway… If artists can’t get their media art used in any context and are also under the illusion the idea that their songs can be free, yet really the songs can’t be as the rights organizations have exclusive control over the copyright. What does it mean?
Is the whole world as simple as, control the supply of money and you control everything? I hope not.

Geologists of which country recently discovered huge deposits of gold?
October 11, 2008From this link
Russian geologist, Anatoly Zaitsev recently discovered huge gold deposits of around 1,000 tonnes in the southern region of Altai. Russia has been cited as one of the greatest unexplored gold regions and reportedly undiscovered reserves of various precious metals in northern Altai could be around 60 million tons. In addition Sukhoi Log, the second largest undeveloped gold deposit in the world could have around 1,029 tonnes of gold. Russia is now at the centre of attention of the big mining companies across the world. The earthquake-prone Altai region sprawls along Russia’s border with Mongolia, Kazakhstan and China and is one of the country’s biggest grain-producing areas
is this true or just propaganda on the net? if you google the name “Anatoly Zaitsev” with gold, you get some interesting results. Yet no geologist…

Where did the gold from Switzerland goto, maybe?
October 11, 2008from this article
Der Bund had added in its story that apparently Iran has ever since last October withdrawn 700 tons of its gold reserves, worth sixteen billion Swiss franks, from various Western monetary funds and transferred them to other unknown destinations.
swiss currency.
October 11, 2008When looking at the population size and the size of the official gold reserves, it seems the simplest thing to do is to exchange your dollars for swiss francs. Swiss has a population of 7.6 million people and 38.8 percent of the worlds official gold reserve.
One idea might be to get swiss travelers cheques. yet who can know how many dollars the swiss have printed, yet i imagine that its most likely just a place that wealth is stored rather than issued.
However this youtube video says that in 2005 the Swiss government sold its gold reserve. I wonder who bought most of it? The currency was previously 40 percent backed by gold. Maybe the youtube video is not true. Who knows?
This is quite a scary contradiction to find out about…
