Its interesting to read this link to find out exactly what a hedge fund is and how it works. from the link it says “Hedge funds are typically open only to a limited range of professional or wealthy investors”
The world might be a very different place if these hedge funds loose on both sides of the fence, in that i say if that goes down and that that went into goes down as well. The ripple effect of this in the global market might not set in, yet if it does, it could be a concern to every person on the planet.
Why does the tax payer pay the huge loss in the hedge fund? Why not let the bank that made the mistake to back the hedge take the hit? What is the world going to be like if the government own all the banks?
